This listing is for a ‘perfectly imperfect’ Scratching Post. The sisal that makes up this unit is good quality but the colour of the material is more brown/golden than our normal range. It is also a bit rougher as well. You will find a small amount of aesthetic damage on the mounting caps and aluminium ring too. Otherwise, the unit is structurally sound. All ‘perfectly imperfect’ products are non-returnable due to aesthetic imperfections. Our return policy, excluding this clause, remains identical. Limited stock.
All cats need to scratch but we know that claws can cause havoc. We designed this cat scratching post to save those items in the home that are particularly vulnerable to cats’ claws. This unit will also provide your cat with the necessary tool to tone muscles, alleviate stress and keep those claws in pristine condition.
Sisal is a durable material that will last a long time and can be used inside and outside the home. We choose to keep our sisal natural, so the rope has not been through any bleaching process. As a result of this, the sisal does retain a natural odour. This odour will dissipate over time but if you would prefer an odour-free product, we would recommend either the cotton or softline option. Being a natural product, there will always be slight colour variations in the sisal.

We source the highest quality rope that we can find that is not bleached.
Being a natural product, there will be slight colour variations and imperfections in the sisal variant.
An inner core of ABS plastic runs the length of the product that won’t dampen/warp in wet weather.
UK delivery: 1-4 days.

Indoor or Outdoor:
If mounting outdoors where the scratcher may become wet, we recommend installing in an area with good air circulation and sunshine. Otherwise, like all natural ropes, the sisal may develop mould if it remains wet or damp for an extended period. You can apply preservative onto the rope to deter the formation of mould but we prefer to keep our materials natural.
Additional wall fixings can be purchased if you would like to have different mounting points at home.

Its rigid plastic inner core and cylindrical shape give this unit considerable strength.
